Review on πŸ•°οΈ Timeless Elegance: Royal Epoch Classic Portable Manual Typewriter in Gray (ROY79103Y) by Darren Anderson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's not as bad as people say.

For $150 it really isn't bad at all. I read a review that said it was really bad, but honestly it's pretty good. Not surprising, but it's decent, and to be honest I really like it. Delivery took 4 days. I received it today which is Thursday and I ordered it on Sunday. I was so excited to get it that the wait seemed like an eternity, but I'm happy with what I got. I opened it right after UPS delivered it to my door. It was well packed. He's a little heavy. I opened it and fell in love! I read the manual as stated in some of the reviews I read here and YES! IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER IT IS IMPORTANT TO READ THE USER MANUAL FIRST! After following the instructions, I put in a piece of paper and tried it out. So here is what I experienced using a typewriter: 1. The small q looks like the letter a.2. You have to press the keys very hard and it's quite loud.3. Replacing the band was an issue initially, but I just watched a YouTube video on how to change the band and I was good to go.4. The interval is skipped from time to time, but not always.5. The carriage return and line spacing levers are slightly lower than usual. None of this bothers me too much so I am very happy with my purchase. I love it!
