It works but is cheaply made

This typewriter (Royal Epoch) works well. I read the instructions first to familiarize myself with it and try it out. Margins, tabs, bell, carriage return, spacing, etc. all work fine. I just don't really care about the feel of this particular model. It's mostly cheap plastic that feels like a toy. The keystrokes are deeper than what I'm used to from a manual typewriter, which slows my speed considerably. I bought this as a warehouse return and got a fair price for it (less than $90) otherwise…

It's not as bad as people say.

For $150 it really isn't bad at all. I read a review that said it was really bad, but honestly it's pretty good. Not surprising, but it's decent, and to be honest I really like it. Delivery took 4 days. I received it today which is Thursday and I ordered it on Sunday. I was so excited to get it that the wait seemed like an eternity, but I'm happy with what I got. Line spacing hits and misses at best, regardless of your settings (individual

Almost nothing on this machine works properly. I use typewriters regularly, so keystrokes causing the problems mentioned by other reviewers aren't an issue for me, but unfortunately everything else about this model is a big problem.It prints unevenly (e.g. individual characters in a line wobble slightly up and down when typed), leaves ink smudges on the paper.The edge bell rings maybe only a third of the Time, and when it does, it's indecisive. Do not trust this seller

I bought a typewriter for my granddaughter and only got to set it up last night due to illness. When I open my product it has been used and has no working functions! The packaging of the product was crumpled and the only information about the product was a piece of paper with Chinese characters on one side and red ink on the other.
