Review on Capezio Womens Fizzion Dance Small by Joseph Winfrey

I read the reviews on these shoes before I bought them and most said they ran very small and suggested going up 1-2 sizes, which I did did. I usually wear a US 8.5 or 9 (8.5 for Puma and Chuck Taylor and 9 for Nike and Adidas to be more precise) so I ordered Large which Capezio says is 10-11. However, these shoes are still too small for me. The elastics at the top accommodate the width of my foot well (I have a slightly wide foot), but they are about an inch shorter and pinch my toes painfully. I love the design and the leather is quite soft and supple so I decided not to return them and instead see what I can do to stretch them. Last night I stuffed a pair of wet tennis socks tightly into the toe box of each shoe and left them there for about 12 hours and that seems to have improved things somewhat. I now wear them around the house and intend to wear them for a while, but while they're no longer limited editions, I doubt I'll ever be able to dance in them. the size.
