Don't believe anything important with these

The battery should be new and the date stamp says good to December 2025. I use them on an automatic chicken door. Each battery gives me over a year of use, but I change after 1 year just to be on the safe side. Put this 3 weeks ago as my last battery was about a year old. Waking up this morning to find my hens locked out all night because that supposedly new battery died and the coop door had closed prematurely last night causing 1/2 of my flock to lock out. I only found out this morning when I heard the roosters crow before the door normally releases them. I found that I lost 4 chickens overnight to a fox or coyote that found it easy to get food. Criminal if you ask me. There is no way to make up for the loss of these birds, some of which I have had for years. I thought I was making the safest choice here, but this was the worst. Stay away from them.
