Although the battery may have been damaged by missing packaging and a loose battery bouncing around the box, it also looks like it was never "rectangular" and poorly constructed. . Every corner and side looks like a well-used battery and feels like it could be taken apart with little effort. Expired in 2024 so it doesn't appear to be old. I also noticed that there was no Duracell packaging either - just a loose battery in an empty box.

couldn't find it locally. I started using one right away and it worked fine, so I didn't bother trying the other three "right away" to see if they actually worked. But when I put the second battery in, it didn't work at all. The third battery didn't work either. Battery 4 works fine, thank goodness. When I found out I had paid for 2 dead batteries it was too late to return them. But it's not too late to post this review as a warning to others.

The battery should be new and the date stamp says good to December 2025. I use them on an automatic chicken door. Each battery gives me over a year of use, but I change after 1 year just to be on the safe side. Put this 3 weeks ago as my last battery was about a year old.
