May solve some common neutral problems

My dishwasher and garbage disposal are on different 20 amp hot circuits but share a common neutral wire. So I could put a GFCI socket in place of each of the existing outlets and that would protect each outlet. But both exits are under the sink and behind a tangle of pipes and drains, and I'm an old man. The GFCI switch for each circuit requires a common neutral and that will not work. So I used this guy; 20 amp, 2 pole ground fault circuit breaker. Two hot and one neutral. Took me 10 minutes to install, works great. It's huge but fits my 40 year old panel well. This is the only way to protect circuits in front of the panel. Expensive but worth it. The switch brand must match the one already installed on your panel. For me, I had old ITE stuff that was replaced with the Siemens brand. Much luck.
