I am always looking for more environmentally-friendly ways to handle food preparation. I needed something to efficiently pack my daughter's lunch each day, and decided to give these a try. I wanted something that took less space than plastic containers.This set of bags comes in a very nice variety of sizes, which pretty much cover the range of foods I pack for my daughter. The locks close smoothly and securely. The material is thick and sturdy, and also flexible enough to pack easily in a lunchbox or backpack.The only downside to these re-usable bags is cleaning them. There are creases in the bottom of the bags that make it very difficult to clean. The best way I've found is to turn the bags inside out, soak them in soapy water, then do my best to scrub them. This is an issue only with these bags, as other re-usable bags I have tried have the same challenge. But be aware that these bags have not solved the dilemma!This is a nice set of re-usable bags, but be aware of the cleaning challenge. I recommend them.
