Superb tights. Well done. We bought size MD. My daughter is about to wear size 7 or 8 pants (either medium or oversized tights). She just turned 8, weighs 55 pounds, is tall for her age, thin and slightly shorter than average. He pulled himself up completely, but with absolutely no excess material. She hasn't worn them for her first ballet class of the fall yet, but I think once she starts kicking and moving they might start to seem too small for her. Next time we'll take the large size but stick with Danskin. The "convertible" opening on the underside of the foot is very pretty. This allows the tights to be folded over the calves as shown in the picture.
