I love these curtains. The silver branches pick up various colors throughout the house, giving the curtains a different appearance at various times. The black contrasts well with the silver and the branches help to break up the darker color, so that the darkness doesn't overwhelm the design.These curtains do a good job of reducing light from the outside, especially for their price point. I wanted to put up curtains that prevent people from being able to see inside my home; and these curtains definitely help to accomplish that. They aren't the thickest curtains; but, they definitely aren't thin. In the last picture, I have the curtain directly in front of a window that has light streaming in and my hand is behind the curtain. (You cannot see my hand or the light.)Also, I love that these have grommets; but, keep in mind that those can allow more light to pass. This wasn't an issue for me, as I wasn't going for a complete blackout effect.As you can see, I paired mine with sheer gray curtains that have the same design. This created the look that I was trying to achieve, as it broke up the monotony of the black on my long windows.
