Waste of money - sports and portable GPS

I'm an electrician in a residential area so I do a lot of house calls and don't want to rely on my phone all day for directions. However, I was very disappointed with this device and expected more from Garmin. I didn't buy this for voice recognition, but damn it's bad. I literally have to yell for him to listen and he randomly pops up a menu and thinks I'm talking to him, even when there's no music/radio/talk, only street noise triggers it. At least give me a chance to turn off the voice command so it doesn't pop up randomly just before I have to turn. The maps are outdated, although the GPS itself has been updated (there are several roads that have been paved for over 15 years, but it is written that they are not paved and cannot get many addresses). It often tries to take routes that take a lot longer, although I prefer the quickest route, so I have to use Google Maps to check this (I'd buy a Google-branded GPS if they did, if they did ). The wireless camera isn't very good either. The mount doesn't prevent theft, and I've heard of other people's cameras falling off because they hit a bump or pothole. Also, it usually takes forever to connect to the GPS when it connects and there are times when it doesn't connect at all. Overall, I definitely regret buying this device.
