Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I'm fairly confident that these magnetic holders won't do the trick... The pro is that they do actually hold your phone, but the cons are many. They don't stick to all surfaces, including some textured dashboards and phones can easily slide off when making turns or going over bumps. Save your money and find a different solution to keep your phone handy while driving..
