Review on HFP-439 Fuel Pump with Strainer Replacement for BMW R1100 (1992-2006) - Efficiently Replaces OEM Part Numbers 16121464696 & 16141341231 by Dwayne Meurer

This HFP-439B fuel pump is oversized for 1994-97 R850R. This pump is 43mm in diameter while the OEM pump is 39mm in diameter. This pump has an overall length of 140mm compared to the OEM pump length of 134mm. It is too long to even fit between the fuel pump base mounting flange and the fuel pump outlet tube. I bought this to use as a spare in 2018 after my original pump failed and I fitted my existing OEM pump that I bought from my BMW dealer. a few years ago. (Actually the OEM replacement pump was a Walbro 5CA400 and only lasted a year). Having it past the Revain return date, before I needed it, I have no way of going back to this pump. Just note that it will NOT fit 94-97 R850R.
