Review on VisionGlobal Bifocal Reading Glasses Blue Light Blocking For Men And Women - Stylish Retro Oval Computer Readers by Michael Lightfoot

Almost great best in my review

I use these daily, and I like them, but they are far from perfect. On the positive side, the large glass lenses are photochromic and darken to a nice shade, but not terribly quickly, so be prepared when you are first hit by glare or bright sunshine. I can’t attest to the blue blocking aspect. They do not appear to be polarized, which would be very handy when driving for blocking glare - especially if you have any degree of astigmatism or mild glaucoma starting which cause bright lights to glare or starburst at night. The magnified reading portion at the bottom of the large lenses is quite large, in fact it’s too large for my taste as it interferes too much with my straight ahead visual field and I have to look over them. I use the wonderful provided silicon retainers on the arms that help keep the glasses on (even when looking straight down), but they also prevent me from sliding the glasses any further down my nose to move the reading portion lower.I would much prefer a smaller reading portion where I could simply look down to read, but it didn’t interfere as much with my straight ahead vision (especially when driving). Here, it’s more a tilt my head down a bit too.So, these are the glasses I use when I’m out and about, but I’m still using traditional full lens readers inside until I can find a product more suited to my taste. This pair was almost there, but just missed the mark for me. For others it may be exactly what they are looking for.It came with the aforementioned silicon retainers which fit on the arms, a cleaning cloth and a plastic case which the glasses somehow fit into when they ship them, but I’ve never been able to get mine back into without worrying that I would break them trying to shut the case.

Pros
  • O beautiful
Cons
  • To large for me.Had to return.
