Review on 🔧 Enhanced Performance and Protection: Moog K160072 Coil Spring Insulator by Jake Atonyo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

2001 Chevrolet Tahoe LS with ZW7 Premium Smooth Ride Package

I used these Moog coil spring isolators with Bilstein 199021 springs on a 2001 Chevy Tahoe. ) is not the same size as the coil spring retainer on the axle or on the frame. However, the "domed" inner area is the right size to fit in the center of the coil spring. So I proceeded with the installation, assuming that the rubber isolator would simply pull on the spring mount (spring seat?) once the full weight of the car was pressed against it. I used 2 on each coil spring. They were placed on top and bottom of the coil spring before the spring was placed in its final position. Overall, installing the springs was very easy. I have done the following: - loosened wheel grommets - Raised Tahoe until wheels are off the ground - Install jack just in front of towing kit attachment point on frame - Remove plastic fender trim - Remove rear shock absorber - Rear passenger side top screw Loosened anti-roll bar linkages to allow the axle could sag even more - then the coil springs could be removed very easily by hand.
