The product name is reversed. "E12 BASE FOR E11 MINI CANDELABRA" implies that this item is intended to adapt an E12 base (i.e. lamp base) to an E11 fitting. In fact, the opposite is true and is used to insert an E11 bulb into an E12 socket. Yes, the description and the third picture show it better, but it's easy to miss when ordering from a mobile device (obviously). Why anyone would want to fit a smaller E11 bulb into a larger E12 candelabra socket is beyond me, but to each their own. I would only deduct 1 or 2 stars for the misleading title; however, it did not serve its intended purpose. I tried fitting an E11 Philips T4 mini halogen chandelier into the adapter just for fun, but the top neck of the adapter is too narrow and hits the base of the bulb before even a thread can be screwed in! So it didn't work the way I wanted it to, and it didn't work the way it was apparently designed. For this he receives a minimum rating of 1 star.
