Review on Jeep Wrangler JK Winch Mounting Plate by Rough Country - 1162 by Rushabh Bear

This mounting plate is very easy to assemble and looks really great! HOWEVER (1st) if you have factory tow hooks these are replaced with brackets for this plate which I didn't see or realize prior to purchasing. For some of you, sacrificing your factory tow hooks may not be a big deal, but there are plenty of off-road parks and organized events that will keep you out if you don't have front self-rescue attachment points. I do this by installing a front hitch and receiver mount, everything is fine as I type this. BUT (2nd place), do not mount the winch to the mounting plate unless you have your solenoid connected. I had to remove the plate from my jeep and my winch from the plate to connect the 2 ground wires to the bottom of my winch.
