The plate is a perfect alternative to buying a whole bumper but make sure you have a bracket to move the brake reservoir and 2 bolts that go all the way through the frame. Without longer bolts it is impossible to tighten the winch mounts. This attachment also requires the old canister holder to be cut off with a saw or cutting wheel. Looks great when finished and saves you a ton of money on a brand new bumper.

Attention, not suitable for 2014 JK. It was partly my fault as the description was before 2013 but my buddy had 2013. It doesn't look like much has changed. You'll need to crop and reposition something to make this fit. However, this is a good, strong winch plate. It's slightly better than the Smittybilt, which I believe was also made for stock JK bumpers, but bolted on with no tuning.

This mounting plate is very easy to assemble and looks really great! HOWEVER (1st) if you have factory tow hooks these are replaced with brackets for this plate which I didn't see or realize prior to purchasing. For some of you, sacrificing your factory tow hooks may not be a big deal, but there are plenty of off-road parks and organized events that will keep you out if you don't have front self-rescue attachment points.
