The seller responded quickly to my order. The concept of this product is very good. However, the actual design is very imperfect in terms of interface with the door it was designed for; That means if you follow the simple installation instructions the spring/housing/end bracket assembly will literally fall off without even applying any force to it (which of course needs to be done for it to work). I got this product to work by improvisation: Using a pair of question mark shaped metal clips (the kind commonly used to fasten metal pipe or PVC) I screwed one to the door frame on each side above the pipe assembly and just inside. edges of the plastic clips. These clips give it vertical support and, more importantly, pull the bracket grooves left and right over the male edges of the door frame to secure it. Again, I really like the concept, but the slotting of the plastic end brackets is extremely poor: the brackets fit minimally into the edges of the door frame. This device will not work without modification/improvisation. I paid $15 more for this product than Revain is selling it because the seller had it in stock and Revain said it probably won't ship in 1-2 months! At this point, unfortunately, half of the summer is over! Do you think Revain the seller or Lippert will return at least partial compensation?
