Review on JET'S HOME Queen Mattress Protector - Waterproof Fitted Bamboo Mattress Cover with 5-Sided Protection, Breathable & Ultra Soft Terry Mattress Pad Cover by Anita Barlow

I bought two mattress pads from Jet's Home because they met what I needed in a mattress pad. First, the description said they were machine washable and tumble dry low. Secondly, because the sides are also waterproof, and thirdly, because they have to be Oeko-Tex certified. I was very happy with the mattress pads when I first opened them. They were very soft and seemed to be of pretty good quality. However, I am very disappointed as they ripped during the first wash in my dryer. I have a fairly new washer and dryer and my dryer actually has a very low setting so I used that setting. I also include two dry towels to absorb some of the moisture and keep drying time to a minimum. No matter how hard I tried to protect them in the wash, they were still torn in multiple places on the sides. It is not possible to dry this type of product as it takes a long time due to the waterproof backing. Also, I bought many Oeko-Tex certified products and the product always had the Oeko-Tex seal, but none of the mattress pads have the Oeko-Tex seal. I posted a photo of the only product label and it doesn't say anything about the Oeko-Tex certification. This worries me because I need to know that I only sleep on safe materials. The first night I slept on it was hot and uncomfortable and the next morning I woke up soaked in a sweat that I had completely spent my money.
