Review on πŸ”ͺ Efficiently Cut Exhaust and Tailpipes with GEARWRENCH 2031DD Cutter by Jason Chaplain

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Works great on a 1.5 " exhaust pipe

Important tips: 1: The pipe to be cut must be secured somehow, otherwise it will be much more difficult to achieve the required torque with a wrench . 2: oil the chain! I used air tool oil and it worked great. 3. After wrapping the pipe with a wrench, gently compress at least 1/4 turn, 1/2 turn would be better, but 1/4 turn works in tight spaces. . Then squeeze the handles VERY hard and you will feel the blades sink into a small groove. Hold as tight as you can and twist back and forth 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Don't loosen your grip. It took me about 7 minutes to make this whistle in the photos so it's a bit of work but nothing labor intensive. Overall, I am very satisfied with this tool, I managed the work in a confined space without any problems.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • I won't say anything
