The first thing I would like to say as this is the first thing I was looking for is that this tea infuser will not leave leaves and pieces in your tea. The upper is so easy to use - it just slides in, yet is snug fitting with no gaps. The holes in the canister itself are very small, but they allow water to pass through fairly easily. The holes in the lid are slightly larger, but not enough to make a noticeable difference; still no leaves in my tea. And it's just the right size to allow tea to expand and fit into almost any cup, too. 10/10 recommend.
