Review on 🌭 Hakka Sausage Stuffer 11 Lbs/5 L Vertical Sausage Maker: Efficient and Versatile for Homemade Sausages by Jessica Silva

This item was bought as a Christmas present. Overall I would be happy with the overall quality of the product barring one issue. I noticed a problem with this from the minute I started stuffing sausage. If you're using 1/2" covers, after turning the handle you can feel the gears not working properly, and by the time I got over 20 pounds with this small size, the gears had deteriorated to a point, on which it was almost impossible to use. . The problem is an excessive gap of more than 1/8 inch between the two gears when the load on the piston is pushing the gears apart. From what I understand it just needs a properly installed thrust washer/gasket and some good quality food grade grease. They sent me replacement parts as I requested but they were wrong. A second request has come in and we'll see what happens. Aside from the damaged gears these are all $0.50 parts assuming they send me the correct parts I would happily do a very basic repair/replacement and give them a five star rating.
