Better than Walkot in ice water

After trying to make sausages and blow casings every 3 minutes with a Kitchenade blender, I stopped and ordered this just before I was done. Not returned. Fills the sausages in a fraction of the time. The Kitchenade is great if you cook up a pound or two at a time for dinner. Otherwise throw it out the window or cut your wrists. If you're looking for speed or volume, buy one of these. you can thank me later

Pros
  • Hands-free work
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great car! in kitchen & dining room

I grew up watching my father stuff sausages using a manual machine from his father's butcher shop. I still remember how quickly and easily the meat slipped into the shells. When I was trying to make sausage as an adult, I used a bait maker for my kitchenade. A good meat grinder, but a useless meat grinder. This pen was exactly the same as my father's! The mechanism and design allowed me to easily control the flow of meat and intestines to get the right filling!

Total Junk for Meat & Poultry Tools

This article is crap. There is a key in the shaft slot that prevents the shaft from turning, but it's not big enough to fit fully into the receiving slot on the frame, so the shaft turns, sticks, and grinds the metal. Also, the gears look like they're made out of cheap metal and barely touch, which seems doomed to fail. The welds look terrible. Overall it's rubbish and I can't imagine it lasting more than a use or two. I sent it back for a refund after 5 minutes of trying.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

We bought it as a family a few months ago.

We bought this as a family gift a few months ago. It was used for the first time today and didn't make it through a meat bin. The handle became difficult to turn and then a small piece of metal fell out of the top part, preventing the threaded shank from turning. Now it doesn't work at all. There is no way to contact support for this bundled product. I think we should be able to either bring this back or replace it. The company contacted us after this review and exchanged this device. Ready to try again

It took less than 1 hour. The first 10 pounds - it was easy and worked great. At the end of the second 10 pounds, something started to strain. The next 10 pounds had to be pulled back and stuffed into the meat grinder. The gears on this filling were burned. It almost looks like they are misaligned out of the box. Since I was stuffing through the 1/2" nozzle, I wasn't expecting to put a lot of strain on the unit. If it can keep working like it did with the first 10 pounds, I'll want another one.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Long wait

Great product for the DIY sausage maker.

First, the machine works as advertised. Would I recommend it, yes, is it worth the money, yes. Problems: The manual is too small, the font is too small and the illustrations are too small. It's hard to know what you're looking at and the explanations are poor at best. There is one part of this machine not covered in the manual that I want to focus on: the air vent. I'm a mechanic and fully understood what it was and how it worked, but for those who aren't mechanically inclined this will be a…

Pros
  • also understandable for the old ones
Cons
  • Some little things

This item was bought as a Christmas present. Overall I would be happy with the overall quality of the product barring one issue. I noticed a problem with this from the minute I started stuffing sausage. If you're using 1/2" covers, after turning the handle you can feel the gears not working properly, and by the time I got over 20 pounds with this small size, the gears had deteriorated to a point, on which it was almost impossible to use. . The problem is an excessive gap of more than 1/8 inch…
