It took less than 1 hour. The first 10 pounds - it was easy and worked great. At the end of the second 10 pounds, something started to strain. The next 10 pounds had to be pulled back and stuffed into the meat grinder. The gears on this filling were burned. It almost looks like they are misaligned out of the box. Since I was stuffing through the 1/2" nozzle, I wasn't expecting to put a lot of strain on the unit. If it can keep working like it did with the first 10 pounds, I'll want another one. If it's specific to this model, do i need something else i understand i bought a cheaper model but it should hold up more i am not an expert but it looks like another washer needs to be put behind the cog on the crank.
