At first I was very excited about this lock. It has incredible potential, but it didn't materialize in practice. It didn't fit a 2" door and the key itself felt a bit flimsy. This lock has an incredible array of features that, with a few minor tweaks, make it a lock to compare against. I was able to test most functions. and they worked perfectly. My biggest issue was that the lock just felt light compared to many others I've bought. I spoke to the manufacturer's representative about this and wrote down any bugs I found and received feedback that they would look into implementing any suggestions. If some of these suggestions are implemented, I think this lock will be an excellent product. The fact that the manufacturer spent the better part of 30+ minutes discussing my recommendations gives me hope that they will be implemented and will continue to do so. One thing I forgot to talk to them about was this uniqueness of the button. It was different from any key I'd ever seen, looking like a high-di d key that didn't have the usual key cutouts, instead having dots and indentations along the key shaft. That's good and bad as I'm not sure where I could create a duplicate or how I could change the physical lock if I needed to. I gave this lock a good rating of 4 mainly due to the manufacturer's willingness to at least listen and discuss any issues in detail and I felt that they would meet most if not all of the recommendations.
