Excellent purchase! - Air Conditioning Tools & Equipment

I didn't know what to expect when I bought this instrument. For $27. I felt like it was hard to expect a really solid product, but that's about it. I left it under constant pressure overnight, it held up great. Then I kept it in a vacuum all night and same, it held perfectly. The only issue I had was less of a problem and more of a learning experience. At the end of the tool where you add or remove the 5/16" extension, you WILL NOT be able to insert or remove the Schrader tool into the port if you overtighten. I had to do it. does not hang out, but the gorilla is not attracted. It just does it carefully. Otherwise great tool! $$ worth I hope to see more from this company in the future. UPDATE: So when I wrote the last comment about the tool, I didn't have much experience with it. Maybe a day or so. But another major issue I had with a tool I haven't seen before is that the end you screw into the service port doesn't rotate. THAT'S A PROBLEM! Since then I have never used it again. It's just that there aren't many places at all to place this thing where you have room to rotate the entire tool. However, it still has value and costs $27. I spent for it. The stem in this tool is long enough to use this stem and 5/16" adapter on almost any valve core tool. That way I can take a 5/16" stem and adapter and attach it to my APPION, my Hilmore, or the yellow jacketed valve core removal tool and stem. I now have 1/4" and 5-16" in ALL of my main tools. You have to go buy it. Just know that it won't be your "move". And if you can only choose one instrument for the rest of your life, don't...

Pros
  • FEATURES: Ideal tool for replacing damaged valve cores or for servicing air conditioning or refrigeration equipment where valve cores need to be removed.
Cons
