Review on Dorman 901-725 Liftgate Release Switch - Compatible with Toyota Models by Troy Rotermund

As with the others, the original tailgate release switch on my 4Runner never failed, but the gum started to break, so I thought it would be a good idea to use the "sticky" switch. When I started I received the product, it seemed to me to be well designed and I had no trouble installing it. It worked fine for about 9 months but started to fail a few months ago. I tolerated that for a while, but now it just doesn't work. It looks like I would be better off buying an OEM part directly from Toyota.
