I ordered this for a friend of a 2008 Honda CR-V EX: The key fob worked great but the case fell apart within 10 months. We had some appointment confusion with Revain's locksmith but when he arrived he was friendly and cut a new key in the car park. It synced both new and replacement OEM key fobs quickly and accurately. The USARemotes key fob looked the same as the stock Honda OEM key fob except for the lack of the "H" logo. It worked great for about 10 months until the case cracked, presumably from twisting when the car was started. I had to exchange the case for another from a different manufacturer. The attached photos show the case splitting as well as a noticeably longer screw that came with the case. I had to buy a replacement. The OEM-style fit is notable: the USARemote key and electronic internals fit perfectly in the replacement case, even though it was from a different manufacturer. Apparently some cars have a transponder chip glued into the case that needs to be transferred to a new case. It was NOT in the car in question - I just had to transfer the key and electronic module. My rating of "3" reflects the compatibility of the button and electronics, but the less durable case design that didn't last as long as expected. (Often used, the eleven year old OEM spare key shows no signs of detachment). Ritual.
