First off I just want to say that this is a really great idea. Put Alexa in Orbi - all in one! I think the sound quality is pretty good for a hub. Everything Netgear and their Orbi system are known for, as expected in the network part. Pretty easy to assemble following the instructions. That's where this thing is - a sad, sad disappointment! The functionality of Alexa is stupidly insufficient. WHY not use all the normal features of an Alexa hub in this device. My 4 year old 1st Gen Dot can do more than that. I got rid of my Gen 1 Echo Plus to replace with this guy. Anyway I was looking for another satellite to extend my Wi-Fi signal and saw this on a better day! I thought it was great, I can kill two birds with one stone --- no! First, I have an Echo Show that controls most of my devices. When I insert Orbi Voice, I can no longer add or open new devices. Went in circles with the support of Revain, eventually narrowing it down to Orbi. Also, much more annoying is that Orbi Voice can't announce, embed, or verify messages, and you can't change the pathname! What do I need this thing for? Of course I can say tune in to this song, but actually that's about it. I have a Gen 2 show for the built in hub, so I was hoping to control just a few devices with the Orbi that are in a very different part of the house, but when I say "Alex" it does everything erased because both devices are trying to communicate and now half the time the command just resets! Why not add these features? Don't say it's an Orbi with Alexa when it's actually only half the functionality! Sorry Sorry Sorry Disappointment! Without update I send it back!
