Review on Spectre Performance Air Intake Kit for 2012-2019 TOYOTA Tundra (SPE-9055): Enhancing Horsepower and Torque with High Performance Design by Arturo Reyes

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A lot of money and noise for an insignificant return.

I bought this product hoping that it would improve the fuel economy of my 2018 Toyota Tundra. I usually drive my truck long distances. So trying to get some MPG will pay off. I drove over 2000 miles last week and my mileage has stayed the same. Mileage is the only thing that can be measured for me, unless I'm testing it on a dyno to see if consumption has actually resulted in an increase in performance. The truck could have better acceleration overall, it's hard to say. I say it very loud, the radio drowns out. I need to save on buying air filters to get my money back. As for the filter installation, it wasn't that bad. This takes about an hour. No special tools required, there was a bottleneck, but it just takes patience. The directions are just ok, definitely not great. There's always YouTube and stuff online if you get stuck. Directions would be better if they were color coded and indicated which screws to use where. The recording looks good, they did a good job with it. In terms of consumption, the price was average. IDk, maybe I got what I paid for; maybe they are all the same?

Pros
