Review on ✂️ Moontay 6.0" Hair Cutting Shears: Professional Barber Stylist Scissors by Jessica Veliz

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Good scissors with large finger holes; However, they sell a similar set with smaller holes for less money

When researching which pair of scissors to buy, I noticed that many buyers of other scissors on Revain were surprised by the small size of the finger holes . My hands are medium to large and I didn't want to buy scissors for small stylist hands. Since Moontay advertised this set with large holes, it was a candidate for purchase. What made me buy it was that they listed the specific steel grades, heat treatment and hardness rating of that steel. Knowing these qualities is important when evaluating a cutting tool. Most manufacturers in this price range do not disclose this information. Upon inspection of my purchase, the finger holes fitted me perfectly. I was also very happy with the finish, tension setting and sharpness. Making a spice is a very labor intensive process and I'm very happy to find it in a $40 kit. Sharpening hollow blades is similar to more expensive designs. The case that came with the scissors was pretty good too! This is not a one-off event. This is definitely where you will keep your scissors. Finally, the kit comes with a wrench to adjust the tension, which is not clear from the specs. It's good if you ever sharpen your scissors. Please note that these scissors have a premium blade design, so they cost as much to sharpen as expensive salon scissors. Only use these scissors for hair.
