Review on 🚡 Stay Hydrated on the Trails with CamelBak M.U.L.E. 12 Mountain Biking Hydration Backpack - Refill with Ease and Enjoy Magnetic Tube Trap - 100oz Capacity by Phil Prater

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good bike backpack for hydration.

CamelBak gives their backpacks weird names like HAWG, MULE, and LOBO, but despite CamelBak's unusual naming conventions, they're serious backpacks. I have had a smaller CamelBak hydration pack for a number of years. CamelBak is the clear leader in quality hydration packs and this pack reflects that heritage. This is a larger bag than I've had in years, with more liquid capacity (3 liters) and significantly more room for other stuff in its zipped compartments. Did a video review of this set. As a bike water bottle, this backpack is as good as it gets. I have several Osprey bike packs and they are more durable with better padding and more room BUT they are not hydration packs. Mainly suitable for transporting liquids and only secondarily for transporting other things and ideal as a drinking bag. The padding on the shoulder straps is minimalist. This is for hard riding and drinking, not carrying significant weight. However, it holds a lot more than my other CamelBak bike backpacks. Pros: 1) Good webbing for cooling the shoulder straps. 2) Multiple pockets. Top welt pocket with velor interior and intricate zipper that seems to stick to velor but gets better with time. 3) Chest and waist straps 4) Thin smooth fabric. 5) Nice looking backpack and worth the money if you like the size and the look.
