The slots are NOT very wide!
The toaster slots don't even cover a full slice of bread. I put 2 slices of bread in, push the handle down and the top of the bread sticks out of the slot! I even tried turning it sideways - it still sticks out! At a temperature of 1 to 2, one side burned and the other was barely fried. I tried to toast the bagel and it got damaged in the toaster when I tried to take it out because the slots are NOT very wide as advertised. Very disappointed!
