I had an insanely heavy cage. I wanted to move it a few inches to center it on the wall and not obstruct one of my windows as much. It was too heavy to move once the lid was on and I didn't dare complain after my husband and his friend nearly killed themselves to even move the parts here. So I bought a furniture lift kit and these pads to allow the cage to slide on the hardwood floor. The cage (which was handmade) leaned forward a bit, so I put two pads under each front foot and one under each back foot. They're nice and thick and protected my floors when I put the unit back in place. This is my second pack of felt pads under the same brand because I really liked the little ones I bought so many.
