In an effort to simplify my family room and declutter my shelves, I decided to get rid of CD and DVD cases and utility cases instead. It was a bit sad at first getting rid of all my cases and I wondered if I made the right decision but I'm so happy and will never go back. I like these envelopes because I can write on them about the movie or CD I put inside. I write the length on the back and sometimes the genre or list of songs. My daughter decorates paper sleeves for her movies, which she loves. They fit perfectly in a storage box I bought from the Snap-N-Store SNS01658 Double Wide CD Storage Box (Black) which takes up about 1/50th the space my collection used to have. The sleeves are just the right size, the CD fits snugly but not too tight. There is also a small U-shaped perforation on the back where a flap can be inserted to keep it closed. They came with an elastic band as someone mentioned and some of the outer sleeves are a bit bent because of it. They stand up when they have a disc in, but they have to work on their packaging. Otherwise, the price was great and the product does what it promises.
