It's good but not absorbent
I did what was said about the prewash 2 times before use but I washed it 4 times as a precaution. When my piglets pee on it, it doesn't suck in, it just sits on the fur. So there are puddles of urine everywhere, so I often have to dry my girls. It fits perfectly in my midwest cage and was easy to clean. It just doesn't absorb and smells very quickly. So far so good, but I would recommend something more absorbent.
