I'll start by saying I hate dental floss and have probably used it a few times in my life, probably after eating popcorn because I was more annoyed than conscientious. It's also worth noting that at 32 I've never had tooth decay, but I know I'm pushing for it. So I bought them because they were cheap and cute and thought they might inspire me to start a dental procedure. I like her! They go in the gap between my teeth closest to the gums. If you don't have a gap between your teeth, they won't pull all the way out like a thread. The bristles are soft, the wire is soft. The only negative is that I feel a little guilty about all those disposable plastic pens. I used one brush on all my teeth and the pack lasts a long time.
