This is my review of: lcwamy USB 3.0 64GB Flash Drive Appearance: The bamboo case looks great. The hinge is a little loose, but it doesn't open by itself, so it works. Performance: Whenever I get a new drive, I check a few things. The first and most important thing is that the capacity of the drive is accurate. Memory can be manipulated to show more capacity than it actually has. There are several programs that write data to disk and read what they have written to check the actual space available. Using "Quick Disk Test v1.2" I found that the advertised capacity of 56.5 GB is correct. Apart from the displayed capacity, I next check the read and write speeds that can be achieved in practice with my current settings. This is where it gets tricky, I'm not necessarily aiming for the advertised speeds as my hardware and settings are likely not those of the manufacturer. But I expect them to be on the same level. When I tested this drive, and I've done it several times, my speed was about 12% faster than advertised. At this point I have to ask if I think this disc is worth the price. The price per Gbit is on par with other manufacturers. So knowing how well it works is not a problem. For reference, my test equipment was: Software: Quick Disk Test v1.2 for disk capacity CrystalDiskMark 6.0.2 for disk speed.
