BROTHER PT1290 LABELING MACHINE FOR HOME AND OFFICE My husband's office has this particular labeling machine and he decided to buy it for our home use. That's what we did Here's what Tom loves about this label printer: Can use four ribbons of different widths Ribbon sticks well for indoor and outdoor use Two different fonts to choose from The display is big enough to show up to 15 characters at a time Can print two Lines Can create 15 unique and fun decor patterns Great for labeling files that are easy to read The keyboard is large and comfortable Additional tape can be purchased at any office supply store or online And here are a few things Tom doesn't like about a label Manufacturer: It would be nice if it came with a power adapter. Instructions are not easy to read and/or understand - book format would be better. Ribbon is wasted before and after each label print. Requires six AAA batteries to work Pros outweigh cons. Overall, my husband is very happy and satisfied with this labeller. You will too. Thank you Pam
