Converter Airpopper!

As a popcorn lover and having switched from a pot on the stovetop to an air popper and now to this bowl, I can say that I like this bowl more than any other type. However, there are also some disadvantages. I'll list the good and the bad below. Advantages: - Less oil consumption as the oil melts and covers itself when it bursts. With an air popper, some will have some oil, but pouring the oil in will give you some raw popcorn and some dry popcorn. You also end up using a lot more Air Popper Oil to get less coverage. - Takes up very little space as it is collapsible. It fits on a shelf in a tiny corner of one of my closets. - Easy to clean - not easy to break. Cons - not all popcorn will pop. We always have about 20 grains left at the bottom of the bowl. With the Airpopper we had 2-3 cores that didn't burst. Although popcorn is relatively cheap, we don't mind leftovers. They are too pliable to be eaten. You really need to put the popcorn in a sturdier bowl if you plan to eat it on the couch or don't want to worry about the sides popping all the time. You have to be very careful when it bursts. For the first few uses, leave the microwave on while this thing is inside and stop cooking when you hear the popping slow down. It's very easy to light popcorn, just like in a bag. For our microwave we set this to 2 minutes 15 seconds. Overall, we love this microwave popcorn bowl!
