Worked great on a motorcycle aluminum mirror mount repair. I've seen some people struggle and wondered if they used the drain oil and wiggled back and forth to remove the faucet to clean from time to time. Tapping oil SHOULD be used when cutting, drilling and tapping metal. Granted, I don't always follow my own advice, but when I'm working on important things, I do.
