Splash/Yaw at Idle

I was having high idle issues in my car so I installed this new IACV in my car. This actually made my idle worse and the car started spinning back and forth between 1500 and 2500 rpm until the car warmed up. I ended up sending back a new IACV because I think it was defective. The solenoid was marked Denso but I suspect it was fake because the price was so low. I ended up cleaning my OEM IACV and that fixed the idle.
