Noticeable difference

Update: 2021 Just uninstalled and they still have some life. They groan a little under hard braking and disappear a little. Not a lot of pads left and honestly the rotor isn't as worn as I thought it would be. Found other discounted high performance rotors and pads for about the same price, so installed them.-2013 brake pads and rotors, taken from a 2003 GS300, were very well shaped and thick. The problem was that the previous mechanic decided to put in some sort of greenish racing pads that glazed and overheated (darkened the entire surface) both rotors, making them slippery. The brake pedal didn't feel spongy, but it took a lot of foot pressure to stop the car. Heading down to the road section to settle into the pads and Power Stop rotors, the brakes felt very strong, although I used them lightly until I started the bed process. It pulled a bit during the lapping process, but went as it progressed. Have driven 500+ miles and they work exceptionally well, apart from being very different from the removed set. Power Stop feels better than OE and will definitely use them on future brake work on other vehicles.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Alright
