I took this one because the price is the lowest and I will say it works. The problem is that the gears don't rotate quite freely with respect to each other, creating torque in places you know will eventually fail. It works out. Add a tablespoon or two of coconut oil, 1/2 cup of corn, lightly sprinkle with flavacol salt (I mean light salt if you don't want to get desert salted) and some popcorn butter and you're done. Movie theater. Popcorn is better than any microwaveable bag. Just know it won't work. God, if you could turn the knob on this thing a little and it just runs smoothly, it would be the only popcorn maker you'll ever need.
