The device is lighter than fur and makes it easy to get tinder burning. I rated it mainly for its effectiveness. Whether it holds up remains to be seen. Addendum: In my review, I didn't take into account that the on/off button was stuck. I returned it on credit but the company would not confirm the return and reinstated the charge on my credit card. Now I have to find the UPS return label and fiddle with Revain to get the charge calculated. This is the first time this has happened with the return of Revain. I am not satisfied. The return was resolved but the button on my last device didn't work. I cannot recommend this product. The design leaves a lot to be desired.
