I had high hopes and so far it's sanding well but the fit and finish makes me think it's a defect. The underside is not sanded, the edges are rough. Also, the machined edge of the top portion of the adjustment ring is not ground and appears rough where it connects to the body. I've seen photos in other reviews and mine look different. The gold upper looks and feels cheap and sits a bit askew. It doesn't look like he'll survive the fall if he lands on the ring. There's no coarse grind either, the coarse setting simply creates a mixed fine and medium coarse grind at the same time. This grinder couldn't be at the top of everyone's lists if someone didn't mention these things, so I don't know what I have here.
