I make a living from audio and video services, including creating and copying discs. I've been using nothing but generic DVDs for a few years and haven't been disappointed yet, seriously I buy the cheapest (cheapest) brands. I have duplicated thousands of discs, never got stuck, had no problems with data errors even with full discs (using Epson Disc Maker PP-50). So don't let the price or the brand fool you, they all work. The only difference may be the color of the "white" print layer and the distance of the print surface from the center. which varies slightly from brand to brand.
