You get what you pay for and they're not much more expensive than generics except for the super cheap ones that end up wasting a lot of time with bad burns or returns. From these Verbatim DVDs I've recorded three of 50 spindles so far, not a single stand. They are thick and tough. I've found some very small chips on the edges of several discs, but only when they're stacked on top of each other and the light hits them right. Canon MX922 inks are usually accepted, but they are not bright white. I've included a photo to show this against a white window envelope. If you're printing full coverage photos or images, you probably won't notice it, except that the contrast might not show up. However, if you need more than a few discs of the same project, consider hiring a copy service for $1-2 each and save time recording and printing. I highly recommend these DVDs. This is my new favorite brand.
