This is my second Dahle cutting mat and I am very happy so far. I have some tips for you if this is your new cutting mat1. Keep it clean when you use it. Dirt, glue and oil will greatly ruin the self-healing of the mat, so simply wipe with a damp microfiber cloth before and after use.2. The self-healing of the mat has a limit. If you cut the mat too deep and/or cut the same spot multiple times, the mat will not heal completely. So use 2 sides.3. If the mat slips on the table, put a paper tower under the mat.
