Review on πŸ’‘ Kosher Lamp Max - Sleek Silver/Burnished Steel by Tat Lousteau

Nice device, but some weaknesses.

I like this lamp. It's a stupidly simple idea to go back to old kerosene lamps, but it's a really good thing for us Shabbat keepers. I've already found it useful in many cases because I don't have to worry about when exactly people go to bed. This is useful, for example, if you have an overnight guest and you want him to be able to "turn off" the light depending on his bedtime and not plunge him into darkness in an unfamiliar environment. (You might still want to set a late timer to save power so the lamp stays off all night.) My issue is that the light is pretty poor and the reading angle is *very bad*. In general, to read, you need light that shines on the page. However, this lamp looks like a bare lightbulb lying on the table right next to the book. The angle of the light is wrong and you are constantly distracted by a bright light a few inches from your eyes. So it's very difficult to read. I hope that the company can solve this problem in another version and change the angle of the projected light.
